Residential Program

St. Gerard Campus has an on-site dormitory to accommodate eight teenage girls and their babies. Occupancy in our dormitory is need based. It offers high-risk, endangered pregnant girls a safe environment where they can have their babies in a spiritually peaceful serene home monitored by full-time housemothers.

The two housemothers live on campus and ensure the dormitory is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They teach the young women how to care for their infants through the night. In addition, the girls learn to clean for themselves, do laundry, cook, shop for nutritious food, calculate a budget, live within their means, drive and become productive members of the community. The housemothers drive all the students and babies to and from all appointments, including all doctor visits. These “angels” watch over our girls and their babies giving them the physical and spiritual support so important at this time.

If you or someone you know is pregnant and in danger or at risk, please call 904-829-5516 for help.
